Walk on the Footsteps of the Impressionist Artist

" I put my my heart and soul into my work, and I lost my mind in the process"

Vincent Van Gogh

Arles & Les Baux de Provence

 & St Remy de Provence

During this tour, I would like to share with you my passion for this outstanding artist who came for the quality of the light and for the sushine of Provence.

I will suggest you a guided walking tour in Arles, the starting point of his stay in Provence. This will be the opportunity for you to see different places that gave him the inspiration for "Cafe Terrace at Night" and the famous "Langlois Bridge", which he painted several times.

Then, we will visit St Paul de Mausole located in St Remy de Provence. It is the mental institution where he spent one year during the second part of his stay in Provence.

I will let you discover his art -as an artist involved in the impressionist movement- but also tell you many anecdotes about his daily life in Provence, far away from his native country, the Netherlands. His stay in Provence from 1888 to 1890 was a true artistic revelation and without any doubt his most prolific period .

I remain at your entire disposal for further information.
